Forty-four states added construction jobs between January 2018 and January 2019, while 33 states added construction jobs between December and January, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data released today. A fire erupted at the Hodge-Hieronymus Square Development in Iowa City, causing an estimated $1 million in damage.
